Photographic and Mixed Media Artist

I am interested in identity and where we find ourselves in a given moment in time. Photography, as it captures moments, is a most relevant medium for exploring this.

Techniques I utilise are the handmade pinhole camera, cyanotype and gum bichromate. I also incorporate painting, drawing, video editing and projection, all yield timeless and unexpected imagery.

Originally from Washington, D.C., I earned my M.F.A. from The Maryland Institute College of Art, B.F.A. from the Corcoran School of Art, an B.A. In Art Education for the University of Maryland. U.S. exhibitions include The Washington Center for Photography, The Peabody Conservatory of Music, The Philadelphia Museum of Art and The Lab Gallery, New York City.
